Development of Route 6 South – Shocket-Nevatim

Extension of Route 6 South at the Shocket-Nevatim segment.  Construction of a new 2-lane, 2-way 11.5 km road between the Shocket South Interchange and the Nevatim Interchange. The project includes constructing the Shocket South Interchange on Route 60, constructing the Nevatim Interchange on Route 25, and several additional bridges along the path.

The road extension will provide easy access to Be’er Sheva’s southern industrial zone, which will further develop and offer more jobs following the road's construction. Additionally, the road will enable quick access to Be’er Sheva’s southern neighborhoods and from there to other southern towns on Route 40. At the same time, the connection to the town of Dimona will improve, shortening the drive to and from it. The new road will also reduce soldiers’ drive to military bases in the Negev area.

The company also promotes detailed planning of the route segment between the Bet Kama Interchange and Ma'achaz Interchange that is yet to be approved.
