Constructing a diamond interchange between Route 31 and Route 60, including ramps and junctions with traffic lights at the exits from Route 31. Constructing three new bridges: over Hevron stream, Sansana stream, and Route 60.
The new interchange will provide a solution to approximately 50,000 vehicles, moving in the following directions: fully flowing commuter traffic along Route 31 from Arad to Tel-Aviv and back, and traffic coming from towns and villages in the Meitar municipality towards Be’er Sheva and back.
The new interchange will connect to Route 6 and in the future will also connect with the new industrial area to be built at the Shoket Interchange.
The planning of the new interchange also takes into account the plans for transferring the military intelligence campus from Glilot to the Likit region. This includes the future construction of a new left turn interchange from Route 31 (for those coming from Arad) to the secondary access road of the new intelligence campus.
Approx. 230 million NIS.
